Kenneth Young Center Community Navigation Recovery Coaches role is to support others in recovery from a substance use, mental health or co-occurring disorder. The CNRC will serve as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator to recovering individuals in order to help prevent reoccurrence of symptoms and increase quality of life. The CNRC must demonstrate an ability to share personal recovery experiences and to develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships.
Serve as a member of the executive committee.
Conduct correspondence of the CPYD with the approval of the executive committee as needed.
Record and distribute minutes at all of the meetings.
Send copies of correspondence to appropriate CPYD members.
Maintain an up-to-date directory of CPYD members.
Maintain a permanent file of business meetings and records to be turned over to the next secretary.
Prepare the annual CPYD report, in cooperation with the co-chairs and CPYD staff.

Teen Drop-in Program Lead
The nonprofit Alive Center for Teens in Naperville is opening up a satellite location in Hanover Park Illinois. The Alive Drop-in Supervisor is responsible for leading teen drop-in hours and creating teen programs in Hanover Park Tuesdays and Thursdays after school and over the summer from 2:30 – 5:30pm. Spend one day a week - Monday, Wednesday or Friday - working Naperville drop-in from 3 – 7pm (summer 1 – 6pm). Working hours are roughly 11:30 – 7:30pm these three days but are flexible. The ideal candidate is a teacher or social worker looking for a smaller company with more flexibility and freedom to create.
