Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Serving D211 Goes to Washington, D.C.!

Leaders from the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) serving District 211 had the opportunity to attend the CADCA Leadership Forum in Washington, D. C., at the beginning of February. At this conference the youth attended workshops training them in prevention strategies and leadership, they were able to speak to members of Congress and attend a rally outside of the Capitol Building on Capitol Hill Day. They are excited to bring back this new knowledge to strengthen their prevention efforts in their schools and communities.
